Share the lessons learned and impact of Galing Bata on your life.
Being a part of FEC Galing Bata has impacted my life because it gave me a second home when I was a newly immigrated student. Being in an unfamiliar location, Galing Bata really made me feel more at ease as I was surrounded by people who understood me and my situation. So going back to Galing Bata as a staff, I really want to give back that same experience I had to the students now, where they gain this sense of community and really learn more about the Filipino culture.
Share one example of how you have seen Galing Bata’s “Gabay, Lingap at Bantay” in action. It could be during a time when you were a student, volunteer or staff.
I see "Gabay, Lingap at Bantay" everyday while at Galing Bata, helping out students with their homework and helping improving their academic skills. Filipino Enrichments are also an incredible way we keep "Gabay, Lingap at Bantay" in action, by educating kids on Filipino culture.
What is one wish you have for our students and families we serve?
One wish I have for Galing Bata is to continue getting bigger and have the program reach more people!

I really love going on walks, meditating and listening to music for self-care.
