Share the lessons learned and impact of Galing Bata on your life.
Galing Bata used my classroom when I was still at Big Bessie/Bessie FEC Middle School. I felt like I was in the Philippines by the way the students say po, opo, and greet the teachers and parents with respect. I was amazed when a few of them even say and do “mano po”!
Share one example of how you have seen Galing Bata’s “Gabay, Lingap at Bantay” in action. It could be during a time when you were a student, volunteer or staff.
The care of the teachers and volunteers in helping the students with their homework. We used to have potluck diring special ocassions.
What is one wish you have for our students and families we serve?
Parent participation during recognition activities.
Share us your favorite self-care or wellness activity that you practice.
Walking as much as possible. Doing active activities like gardening and walking. (That’s why I want another dog!)
